I wonder how many hours I logged as a kid watching this very vhs I digged up this morning. Michael.
I'll never forget the Smooth Criminal dance sequence. That part where he leans into a crazy 45 degree angle to the floor...!!!
The movie is a strange smörgåsbord of acting, singing, dancing; in one part he even turns into a claymation bunny. Nevertheless, his talent never ceased to amaze me as a kid and even today. -trying to work on a website project. i downloaded dreamweaver, and that's about as far as it's gotten after watching nerdy youtube tutorial after nerdy youtube tutorial.

-cutting fabric to make more tank tops for promised friends. really told myself i was going to take advantage of the sewing machines and labs at school next quarter. fingers crossed on this one.

-should probably look for a part time job or something before i start to feel even more like a bum than i already do.

happy father's day

we had a nice lunch today with dad. i took a lot of pictures of things he's been planting in the backyard. my dad can plant anything and make it grow; i mean ANYTHING. and well, the fish too, the fish in our fish tanks started out as a couple and multiplied like crazy. we could open up shop now, as aquarium/csa!


i accidentally picked the purple corn too early. and the yellow one waaay too early.

also, i checked my grades and that class i thought i failed horrendously i got a C- in. at least i passed. i am celebrating with chocolate chip cookies (this recipe) and a try at baking white bread this time...a productive afternoon.

My first attempt at baking bread, due to my mother's concern about what they put in the store bought stuff.

It hasn't cooled yet; I'm confident though. I thumped the bottom and it sounded right...
If you're interested, I used this recipe from King Arthur. It was relatively simple, and the results aren't bad.

Had to pay my traffic violation today. $276 bucks down the drain. Poop.

Also, I tried to cut my own hair. Good thing my perm hides most of the damage I did. I think.

I'm not sure what they're called. White beans? I tried google-ing "types of beans", haha. I guess they're cannellini beans. He thought he had planted soybeans. Oh well. Fresh cannellini beans anyone?

of what would happen to late night television, with the Jay Leno retirement, Jimmy Fallon coming on, Conan moving around...but this is pretty awesome.
