I don't think these are meant to be used as real shoes. At least I hope not. Caesar Pelayo and I had a great debate about the pros and cons of edible shoes, and came to the conclusion that in a third world country where one might or might not be able to afford shoes, edible footwear would be better than none at all. Even if crows attack you on your way home from school. It's not like they'd hurt you; they'd just eat your shoes and fly away.

a boring night in for me, although i managed to crank out a bit of my paper on dubai, and work a bit on the business plan (sucrose!). with all the demographic and psychographic and market segment research i've been doing for the business i'm beginning to feel like a scheme-y marketing scumbag. but i swear it's all for the good of the company! i swear...you guys shall see soon enough...

friday update

nothing spectacularly exciting, but here goes!:
school is, school. 5 more weeks and i'm outta there, and then i'm off to taiwan again for yet another cousin's wedding. we are getting old!
the internship i had didn't work out (aka it was lame and i didn't go back) so i actually had the day off yesterday. most of the day was spent on cute overload and googling "baby elephants" and "lions" because i started working with some dudes on a freelance job designing baby bedding. future babies of america, look out!
also, my mom got me a gym membership so i went and took a step aerobics class, which is just about the funniest and most embarrassing thing you could ever do to yourself. i kept picturing people i knew doing the class with me. step and clap and jump and over and jump and step and!
