Have you ever

I'm not the best writer, but I'll try.

Do you ever get the feeling when you sit down at the movie theater that maybe a seatbelt or something should come around your waist? I feel that way sometimes. Not always at the theater, but other random times when sitting down in cushy type seating arrangements as well. Today I wondered that, and I wondered why is it that I am so conditioned to expect a seatbelt to come around me, like second nature? I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say; I guess I don't make much sense. So I'll leave it at that.

Maybe it's an innate need for security? If it's not that, perhaps you've watched too many cartoons and have a subconscious fear of projectile seating. ;)

"Over imbibed" is a lyric from one of my favorite Andrew Bird songs, "Skin Is, My." It means oversoaked, which makes me think of a Married with Children episode (which I'm only slightly embarrassed to admit that I've seen) when Kelly says that there's a limit to how much information you can fit into your head and any new stuff starts to replace old stuff at some point...which for me kinda feels true with all this reading because as I read, I forget all the old stuff I've read. That's a really long explanation basically to say I'm not getting any smarter by reading! --C
