SUN day.

Today is Sunday.
I woke up this morning to the sound of pattering on the window. I thought it was hailing; it was so loud, but it was the rain. Benadryl kept me sleepy until 11-ish, and I woke up to a bright sunny day. The wind is howling and it's pretty chilly outside. But sunny nonetheless! I think Brandon and I are going to go try and eat salt and pepper ice cream. Um. That's all for now.

Raphael Saadiq's changed up his image and I'm liking it.
I remember him from the r&b-top 40-ish type stuff he used to do and he's always had an amazing voice, but he's tapping into the Motown soul of yesteryear now and it sounds goooood. I've always liked oldies, and this is a refreshing change from all the junk on the radio now.

However, I did finish my first A-line skirt complete with invisible zipper and pockets!
I've never sewn anything before, and it was definitely not easy. And yes, the material I chose is reminiscent of UPS uniforms and Reno-911. Fabric stores are overwhelming and I was on a time crunch, come on!
