Picasso, continued...
You like how I turned Magic Johnson into a star wearing a watch? Also I don't understand how my story ends...

ESTATE SALES!
...and so my adventures with estate sales continue. A few weeks ago a picked up a rickety nightstand off the sidewalk on my way to a local estate sale, where I found a few interesting things, including this what-I-thought-was-a-first-edition but is definitely not a first edition copy of "House On Pooh Corner". Also picked up a really old cookbook and some retro San Francisco maps to put up sometime.

Prints
Prettiest prints ever. And her story of how she got started is amazing. Here's a bit of it:
"Known for her spirited prints and signature blouse, Gaby Basora is quickly gaining international recognition for her line, Tucker. From her design studio in New York City Meatpacking District, Gaby designs exclusive prints inspired by National Geographic magazines, novels and travel mementos; be it a candy wrapper or an ashtray. Fabrics in each collection include a variety of floral, animal and abstract prints that strike a perfect harmony. What was once a single blouse is now a collection of over 18 pieces including dresses, coats and lingerie. Tucker has and continues to evolve as organically as it began."
Why didn't I think of this?! Jealous. Tucker by Gaby Basora.
