The Annenberg Foundation has set up a free community beach house right here in Santa Monica, complete with free pool (swimming pool, view deck, changing room with showers, restrooms and lockers), tennis courts, activities, and more.
FOR FREE. I don't know how long the free part will hold up, but yea, so far so good.
