Inauguration
By now I'm sure everyone's seen Obama's Inauguration that took place on Tuesday. What a moving speech. And the fashionista's out there were eagerly awaiting what Michelle Obama would choose to wear to the ball that night.
The beautiful one shouldered gown was designed by 26yr old Taiwan born Jason Wu.
It's inspiring to see such a young designer getting this type of recognition, and she looked amazing in that refreshing, pale yellow gown. That lemongrass color was genius. I'm pretty sure you're going to be seeing it everywhere this spring. In class we talked about the significance of yellow as a symbol of hope and spring time, the time for change has finally arrived.
Spring 2009.
You can see Jason's current and previous collections here.
